Donna has been a nerd/geek for most of her life. Board games, ttrpgs, and writing have always been a favorite thing of hers. She thinks conventions are awesome and wants to encourage more people to explore their hobbies and passions, especially those with a nerdy angle.

Lori was that geeky kid in school before it was cool! So along with that, she wanted to be part of this because as a mom she sees so many positive aspects of hobby gaming of all types as a valuable family pastime, and loves having the opportunity to bring that to local families. Gaming teaches lifelong skills, including math, critical thinking, stoking imagination, social skills and more, but along with that, it’s fun, whether you enjoy tabletop board games, role playing, video games, cosplay, it’s all great!
She also brings years of experience planning and hosting military and youth family events to Geekcon which is seen with the ever-expanding Kids Zone, where we provide free, age-appropriate games, crafting and fun play to win games and activities for kids of all ages to enjoy.

Always been a geek, who loves board games. Will almost always drop everything if someone wants to game. I’m a collector of board games and we love to use our collection of games for the board game library at the convention.

Ever since I first picked up a GameCube controller, I’ve been fascinated by video games and geek culture, and that passion eventually led me to years of volunteering at conventions. I’ve found a great deal of fulfillment in helping bring people together around shared interests, and I’m honored to join the board and contribute to the continued growth of an organization that creates welcoming, community-focused events. This role gives me a chance to give back and help ensure these experiences remain available for years to come.

Sean has been a DM for over 10 years mainly with 5e including playing the bad guy for most of the epics. He believes in the mission to support gaming in the local area for young and old alike. Sean was asked to join the board after already volunteering as a game runner, media reach out, and a volunteer to reach out to companies for donations and accepted.

Sioux City Tabletop Gamers is a non-profit organization dedicated to education through the practice of game based learning, the promotion of the hobby of gaming and related non-mainstream hobbies. Our vision is to create, expand and preserve a community of gamers and seek involvement with associated groups.
